Mexican percussionist, composer, and five-time Grammy-winner Antonio Sanchez, will perform tonight his percussion-only score for Birdman (Oscar for Best Picture in 2014), in a live-to-picture screening at the Walt Disney Concert Hall of Los Angeles.
This concert is part of the festival “CDMX – Music from Mexico City” that is being celebrated in Los Angeles this week, October 9-17. A portion of CDMX Festival ticket sales will be donated to UNICEF relief efforts, for people affected by the recent earthquake in Mexico.
