1st edition of the Ciné-Notes festival dedicated to composer Philippe Sarde
Yesterday, March 7th, the 1st edition of the Ciné-Notes festival began in Bordeaux (France), which will include movies and film music dedicated to the French composer Philippe Sarde, taking place at the Auditorium de L’Opera in Bordeaux until next March 18th.
Within this festival we can find concerts, film screenings and panels with the composer Philippe Sarde, highlighting the following events:
Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th of March at 8 pm – Concert “The Cinema of Philippe Sarde”
The Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine (ONBA) conducted by Bastien Stil, will offer a program that will include music from the movies Tess, Le Locataire, Pirates, Le Train, L’Ours (création mondiale), Mort d’un pourri, Les Choses de la vie (La Chanson d’Hélène), Des Enfants gâtés, Flic ou voyou, Stella, Harem, la Grande bouffe, Vincent, François, Paul and others…

Friday 9th of March at 8:45 pm – Concert “The Cinema of Philippe Sarde”
The same concert offered on Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th, will take place on Friday 9th at the Olympia Theatre in Arcachon (France), performed by the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine (ONBA) conducted by Bastien Stil.

Thursday 15th, Friday 16th, and Sunday 18th (8 pm/7 pm/3 pm) – Movie in concert “Quest for Fire”
The Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine (ONBA) conducted by Dominique Spagnolo with the choir Choeur de l’Opéra National de Bordeaux conducted by Salvatore Caputo, will perform live and in a world premiere Philippe Sarde’s soundtrack for the movie ‘Quest for Fire (1981)’, directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud.
