‘Across the Stars’ Open-Air Concert with Anne-Sophie Mutter & David Newman

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of David Newman, and with the participation of renowned violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter, will perform a special open-air concert at the Königsplatz in Munich (Germany), next Saturday 14th of September, 2019.

This concert, dedicated to the music of maestro John Williams, is named after the recent release of Anne-Sophie Mutter’s CD ‘Across The Stars’ -Aug 30th, Deutsche Grammophon- which had the arrangements and participation of John Williams himself

Anne-Sophie Mutter and John Williams have a longstanding friendship, which is why this project has a very special significance for both of them: “The majority of the works that I will perform with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in Munich are special arrangements for me – that is absolutely new and hitherto unheard of in this form!” explains Mutter.
