SCL Oscar Reception 2018
Tomorrow, Saturday, March 3rd, and prior to the Oscar ceremony to be held on Sunday, March 4th (read news), the Society of Composers and Lyricists (SCL) has organized an event / reception for their associates in Los Angeles at The Eveleight restaurant.
This event, which is only available to the Diamond, Platinum and Gold members of the SCL, will have the presence of many composers as well as the Oscar nominees themselves, both in the sections of best original score and best original song (we remind you both lists below):
The event will be from 3:00 p.m. till 5:00 p.m. and will be hosted by:
- Ashley Irwin – President, Society of Composers & Lyricists
- Arthur Hamilton – 1st Vice President, Society of Composers & Lyricists
- Charles Bernstein – 2nd Vice President, SCL, AMPAS Music Branch Governor
- Michael Giacchino – AMPAS Music Branch Governor
- Laura Karpman – AMPAS Music Branch Governor
A very special celebration, where surely will be very interesting conversations, and where more than one of us would love to “sneak in” … and enjoy the atmosphere!
