Arturo Cardelús wins the best original score award at Festival de Málaga 2019

The Festival de Málaga – Cinema in Spanish, which celebrates its 22nd edition from March 15 to 24, has announced this morning their awards, also known as Golden Biznagas and Silver Biznagas, in honor of the emblematic Biznaga, a jasmine bouquet in the shape of a ball that can be seen in summer through the streets of the city.

 

The Silver Biznaga for Best Original Music has gone to composer Arturo Cardelús, for his soundtrack for the movie ‘Buñuel in the Labyrinth of the Turtles’ by Salvador Simó.

 

The Golden Biznaga for the Best Spanish Film, endowed with 12,000 euros, has been for the film Els dies que vindran (The days to come), by Carlos Marques-Marcet and the Golden Biznaga for the Best Ibero-American Film, endowed with 12,000 euros, has been for the film Las niñas bien, by Alejandra Márquez Abella.
