CEC awards 73rd Edition – Winners

Yesterday 29th of January, the ceremony for the 73rd edition of the CEC awards was celebrated in Madrid (Spain) where the CEC medals were presented by the CEC (Círculo de Escritores Cinematográficos – Circle of Cinematographic Writers), a Spanish association that brings together journalists, writers, and film critics, with the objective of creating, supporting and disseminating cultural activities linked to the various aspects of cinema.

 

The film ‘The bookshop’ (La Librería) by Isabel Coixet won a total of 5 medals including the awards for best film and best director, followed by the films Summer 1993, No sé decir adiós, Handia and Verónica all of them with 2 medals each.

 

The award for the best music went to Pascal Gaigne for his soundtrack for the film Handia, with these nominees in that musical category:
