César Awards 42nd Edition – Nominees

Last week the nominees for this year’s French César Awards were announced, which are already in their 42nd edition, where the films Elle and Frantz lead the list of favorites having both 11 nominations.

 

The César Awards are given by the Academy of French Cinema (L’Academy d’Arts et Techniques du Cinema), for films, actors, actresses and directors of French cinema of the year.

The ceremony will be held on February 24th – 9 pm at the Salle Pleyel in Paris, and will be presented by the French actor and director Jérôme Commandeur, being broadcast live by French TV station Canal +.
