Concert dedicated to the 75th Anniversary of José Nieto and conference
The Orchestra of the University of Granada (OUGR) together with the Young Symphony Orchestra of Granada (JOSG) under the baton of Gabriel Delgado Morán, will offer a monographic film music concert dedicated to the figure of the Spanish composer José Nieto on Saturday, May 19th – 8:30 pm at the Manuel de Falla Auditorium in Granada (Spain).
The evening will have the collaboration of the Choir of the University of Granada ‘Manuel de Falla’ (dir. Jorge R. Morata), the Choir of the Faculty of Sciences (dir. Paco Álvarez) and the Choir of the Faculty of Education Sciences (dir. Pedro Hinojosa).
This concert will serve as a presentation of the CD they recorded in July 2017 in the same auditorium named ‘José Nieto – 75 aniversario’, which was edited by Saimel Ediciones (follow link).

The day before the concert, on Friday, May 18th at 7:00 pm, a conference called ‘Music for cinema: Nieto-75th anniversary’ will be held in the Espacio V Centenario – Sala Máxima of the University of Granada, with the presence of Jose Nieto, orchestra conductor Gabriel Delgado and sound engineer and recording technician Jose Vinader, moderated by Joaquin Lopez.
