Concert ‘Movie Band: Ben-Hur’ in Barcelona

 

Next Sunday, April 9th at 6:00 p.m., a concert will be held by the Barcelona Municipal Band conducted by Salvador Brotons at L’Auditori of Barcelona, which will feature music from the film Ben-Hur among others.

 

According to the official program: “If we close our eyes and open our ears, music will transport us in the midst of the most remembered scenes in the history of cinema; from Ben-Hur’s mythical race of chariots to the duels of the Wild West with ‘The magnificent seven’ or ‘The good, the bad and the ugly’ “.

 

The planned program is as follows:

• Miklós Rózsa – Ben-Hur – Suite
• Francis Lai – Un homme et une femme
• Michel Legrand – Les parapluies de Cherbourg
• Ennio Morricone – Moment for Morricone
• Elmer Bernstein – The Magnificient Seven
