FIMUCITÉ 12 – Festival Awards
Yesterday ended the 12th edition of the Tenerife International Film Music Festival (FIMUCITÉ), and while you wait for the summary article of the festival that we will offer you soon in SoundTrackFest, here you have information about the different awards that were given during the festival.
At the closing gala on Saturday, September 29th, Laura Karpman received the Fimucité Antón García Abril award in recognition of her career trajectory, and Carlos Martín Jara won the 1st edition of the Spanish Audiovisual Music Awards presented by the festival and Musimagen, on the occasion of his soundtrack for the TV series ‘Otros mundos’ (read news with more information).
On Sunday, September 30th, and during the concert ‘Colossus of the Big screen’, the winners of the 6th edition of FIMUCINEMA were announced:
Alex North Award for Best Soundtrack in fiction feature
- Sergio Jiménez Lacima – ‘La Isla Rota’
FIMUCINEMA Award for the best original score for a documentary
- Luis Hernáiz – ‘Invierno en Europa’
FIMUCINEMA Award for the best original score for a short film
- Anthony Lledo – ‘Invaders’
FIMUCINEMA Award for the best original song
- Kike Perdomo and Vasni Ramos – ‘Apocalipsis Voodoo’
