‘James Horner – A Life in Music’ homage concert in London

As it was announced in March (see news), tomorrow Tuesday October 24th at 7:30 p.m., the Royal Albert Hall of London will host a special concert in honor of James Horner named “James Horner: A Life in Music”.

 

Like in the recent concert for Michael Giacchino’s Birthday (read news), the music will be in charge of the Cinematic Sinfonia orchestra under the baton of the veteran Ludwig Wicki, having also the participation of the Crouch End Festival Chorus and the vocalists Clara Sanabras and Alice Zawadzki, as well as the piper / whistle performance of Eric Rigler.

 

The program will be as follows:

  10. Titanic – Suite
  11. Field of Dreams – The Place Where Dreams Come True
  12. Titanic – My Heart Will Go On
  13. A Beautiful Mind – A Kaleidoscope of Mathematics
  14. An American Tail – Somewhere Out There
  15. Glory – A Call to Arms
  16. The Mask of Zorro – The Ride
  17. Avatar – Suite

 

The event will feature exclusive on-screen commentary from James Cameron, Mel Gibson, Jon Landau, Ron Howard and Sir Richard Eyre.
