New West Symphony’s 130-piece orchestra, plus singers and choirs, will perform the complete Titanic score while the film (3 hours, 22 minutes with intermission) is projected on a vast LED screen built especially for this event.
The orchestra will be conducted by Ludwig Wicki, who also conducted the original soundtrack orchestra, and will have the performances of Maria Zouroudis (singer), Eric Rigler (uilleann pipes and Irish whistle, who also performed on the original soundtrack), and The All-American Boys Chorus and Los Robles Children’s Choir.
A pre-concert VIP Experience has been organized, where Sara Horner, the wife of late James Horner will take part. This exclusive event will include a special talk by film score producers, never-before-seen photos of James scoring the film in the studio, hors d’oeuvres and wine reception, VIP seating, and a private entrance.
