Joe Hisaishi in Brussels and Lyon in 2019

Overlook Events, known for having brought Joe Hisaishi to Paris in the past (read article for 2017), has just announced 4 concerts of the Japanese maestro in Europe for February 2019: one in Brussels (Belgium) and three in Lyon (France).
Thus, these four concerts are added to the three that were already announced for 2019 in Paris in February (read more) and in Prague in May (read more), adding a total of 9 concerts of Joe Hisaishi in Europe in the first semester of 2019. An exceptional situation… And a luxury!
As usual, the concerts will focus on the music of the animation films that emerged from the famous production company Studio Ghibli, as a result of the collaboration between composer Joe Hisaishi and filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki over more than thirty years (Spirited Away, The Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro, Howl’s Moving Castle, Kiki’s delivery service, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Porco Rosso, etc …).
