Krakow FMF 2019 – Festival Program

This Tuesday, December 18th, and with 6 months in advance, the program of the 12th edition of the Krakow Film Music Festival (Krakow FMF) was unveiled; an edition with very interesting contents, as we anticipated in the following news (read more).
This 12th edition, that will be celebrated from Tuesday, May 14th until Tuesday, May 21st, 2019, will have the following guests: Alexandre Desplat, Craig Armstrong, Bruno Coulais, Antonio Sánchez, Don Davis, Krzysztof Zanussi, Antoni Komasa-Łazarkiewicz, Bartosz Chajdecki y Marcin Masecki, and probably more names will be announced soon.
The festival program includes a total of 10 concerts during its 8 days, ranging from the monographic concert that will present a retrospective of the work of Alexandre Desplat, to the festival gala dedicated to the music of Craig Armstrong, or the film ‘Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992)’ with music composed by Wojciech Kilar in concert (co-produced with Fimucité), going through the film ‘Birdman (2014)’ in concert with Antonio Sánchez, or a concert dedicated to the music of the worlds of Quentin Tarantino, or a journey through the most important music for Krzysztof Zanussi‘s films in the annual appointment of the Scoring4Polish Directors cycle.

We wtorek 18 grudnia, czyli z 6 miesięcznym wyprzedzeniem, program 12 edycji Festiwalu Muzyki Filmowej w Krakowie został ogłoszony; ta edycja ma bardzo interesujący program, czego spodziewaliśmy się po tych wiadomościach (czytaj więcej).
Podczas 12 edycji FMF, która rozpocznie się już we wtorek 14 maja i potrwa do wtorku 21 maja będziemy mogli spotkać gości takich jak: Alexandre Desplat, Craig Armstrong, Bruno Coulais, Antonio Sánchez, Don Davis, Krzysztof Zanussi, Antoni Komasa-Łazarkiewicz, Bartosz Chajdecki i Marcin Masecki oraz prawdopodobnie jeszcze wiele innych nazwisk, które wkrótce zostaną ogłoszone.
Festiwalowy program składa się z 10 koncertów rozłożonych na 8 dni. Wśród nich znajdziemy m.in. koncert monograficzny prezentujący twórczość Alexandre Desplat. Oprócz tego odbędzie się gala dedykowana muzyce Craiga Armstronga, film “Dracula” (1992) z muzyką skomponowaną przez Wojciecha Kilara (we współpracy z Fimucité), film ‘Birdman” (2014) z Antonio Sánchezem, koncert dedykowany muzyce z filmów Quentina Tarantino oraz podróż przez najważniejszą muzykę z filmów Krzysztofa Zanussiego w corocznym cyklu koncertów poświęconym polskim reżyserom Scoring4Polish Directors.
