John Williams – Tanglewood 2024

John Williams will turn 92 years old tomorrow, and celebrating that, Tanglewood has recently announced its summer concert series, where John Williams and his music will have a notorious presence.

2 & 3/8/2024 – FRI & SAT – 20h – John Williams’ Film Night

Boston Pops orchestra conducted by John Williams & Ken-David Masur.

A beloved highlight of the Tanglewood season, John Williams’ Film Night returns. From Hollywood’s golden age to contemporary favorites, conductors Williams and Masur lead the Boston Pops in two memorable evenings of music and film clips, including a special celebration of Henry Mancini’s 100th birthday!

17/8/2024 – SAT – 20h – Jurassic Park in Concert

Keith Lockhart will conduct the Boston Pops Orchestra at the Koussevitzky Music Shed, in a live-to-picture performance of the magnificent score written by maestro John Williams for the film Jurassic Park.
