SoundTrackFest – European Tour 2018

We’re still in London after yesterday’s fantastic concert of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban at the Royal Albert Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra conducted by Justin Freer, of which you can see some photos here:

And we continue with the “tour”, attending today the concert ‘Brian Tyler Returns – Live in Concert’ with Brian Tyler conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall.

After leaving behind the 6th edition of the fantastic ISFMF – International Sound & Film Music Festival in Pula (Croatia), we’re heading to London, to attend the concert Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in the Royal Albert Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra conducted by Justin Freer.

After some fabulous days in Ghent at the 18th edition of the World Soundtrack Awards, where we could enjoy a great and well-balanced concert-gala with awards ceremony, and a highly recommendable concert dedicated to science fiction music, the time comes to leave. But in memory are those two concerts, in addition to master classes, lectures, and meetings and interviews with composers Carter Burwell, Nicholas Britell and Philippe Sarde, that took place during the festival.

Here are some links to some photos taken during the World Soundtrack Awards:

The next stop…. The 6th edition of the ISFMF festival – International Sound & Film Music Festival in Pula (Croatia), which will host multiple master classes, conferences, and meetings, as well as two awards ceremonies: the Crystal Pine Awards and the Camille Awards (in collaboration with ECSA – European Composer and Songwriter Alliance).

In the following two weeks, Gorka Oteiza from SoundTrackFest will be traveling around Europe covering several film music festivals and concerts.

Here you have a picture, where each circle represents a new event that he will be attending, and that will be revealed step by step and one by one.

The website won’t be updated as often as usual during those two weeks, but keep looking Facebook for daily updates and pictures of what’s going on in those places!

The Tour begins… first stop… World Soundtrack Awards in Ghent (Belgium)! (16-18 Oct 2018)
