The tour ‘The World of Hans Zimmer – A Symphonic Celebration’ will be in Madrid (Spain)

UPDATE: 4/29/2018 – Ticket Prices Added

The Teatro Real in Madrid (Spain), which has just announced the concert season for 2018-2019, has given us a great surprise in its programming since it will include a concert of the tour ‘The World of Hans Zimmer – A Symphonic Celebration’ to be held on Tuesday, July 3rd, 2018 at 9:30 p.m. in Madrid.

This new production, ‘The World of Hans Zimmer – A Symphonic Celebration’ will present Zimmer’s compositions for large orchestra in contrast to what has been seen on ‘Hans Zimmer Live’, so it’s going to be a completely new and different audio-visual concert experience.

World Of Hans Zimmer - Tour

This tour starts next 28th of April in Hamburg (more information) and will feature Gavin Greenaway as musical director, who will also conduct the Symphony Orchestra of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus and the Belarusian Television and Radio Choir.

Hans Zimmer has personally participated in the creation and preparation of the contents for the concerts, and although he will not be physically in the tour, the show will include several of his regular collaborators such as the Australian singer-songwriter Lisa Gerrard or the musicians Pedro Eustache and Lucy Landymore.

The concert of July 3rd in Madrid will open the Universal Music Festival concert series organized by the Teatro Real from July 3-31, 2018, on the occasion of its 200th anniversary.

The tickets went on sale on April 15th for ‘Amigos del Real’, on April 18th for ‘Subscribers’ and finally on Friday, April 20th – 10 a.m. for the general public.

At this moment the lower priced tickets are sold out, being only available tickets between 100 € and 150 €.
