Varèse releases oficial CD for Krakow FMF 2016
For the fifth consecutive time, Varèse Sarabande Records has released the album Krakow Film Music Festival, with the collection of music that will be played in concerts to be held this year (from 24th to 30th of May).
The album, which is now available from May 6th and which has been personally supervised by Robert Townson, has been created in cooperation with Universal Music Polska, and contains about 80 minutes of music composed for the greatest real-action and animation films, as well as video games.
Includes the music of composers such as Alexandre Desplat, Philippe Sarde, Jerry Goldsmith, Aleksander Dębicz, Alan Menken, John Powell, Heitor Pereira, Harry Gregson-Williams and John Williams, and guests of the festival such as Harry Gregson-Williams Cliff Martinez, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Joseph Trapanese, Kristopher Carter, Lolita Ritmanis, Michael McCuistion, and Łukasz Targosz.

These themes can be listened along the more than 8 concerts that are going to held during the festival, which are “Scoring4Polański”, “Cinematic Piano”, “Wars & Kaper: Deconstruction”, “alterFMF: Drone Sounds”, “Youth Orchestra Animation”, “Video Game Show: The Witcher 3”, “FMF Animation Gala” and “Raiders of The Lost Ark” with the screening of the film.
The album will also be available physically during the 9th edition of the FMF Krakow, both in the Festival Center and in the venues where concerts are held.
