World Soundtrack Awards 2023 – Nicola Piovani

The World Soundtrack Awards has just announced that will celebrate its 23rd edition from 19-21 October 2023, having its award ceremony and concert on Saturday 21st. At this 23rd edition of the World Soundtrack Awards – Film Fest Gent‘s annual film music awards – Italian composer Nicola Piovani will be awarded for his contribution to film music with the WSA Lifetime Achievement Award.

 

Piovani will be one of the guests during the WSA musical ceremony together with Eiko Ishibashi, winner of the 2022 Discovery of the Year Award. Brussels Philharmonic, conducted by Maestro Dirk Brossé, will perform live music by these two composers and more at the World Soundtrack Awards ceremony and concert, which will take place on Saturday 21 October in the concert hall at Capitole Ghent.
