Crowdfunding for the documentary about Basque composer Bingen Mendizabal ‘Bidean Jarraituz’

The documentary “Bidean Jarraituz” (Still in the way), centered on the figure of Basque musician and composer Bingen Mendizabal, which we have already discussed in the following news (read news), has started a Crowdfunding campaign in the Goteo platform by the hand of its director Aitor López de Aberásturi, with the objective of obtaining funds for its realization.

Crowdfunding for the documentary about Basque composer Bingen Mendizabal 'Bidean Jarraituz'

The contributions, ranging from a minimum of € 10 (recognition in social networks), up to an amount of € 500 (sponsor with logo on credits and more rewards), can be completed through the following link: https://www.goteo.org/project/bidean-jarraituz-siguiendo-en-el-camino/

As a curiosity, indicate that all personal contributions made, have a tax deduction of 20%.

From SoundTrackFest we encourage you to take part in this crowdfunding campaign, since although there is just little left to reach the minimum goal of € 7,500 and less than 20 days for it (currently the balance is € 6,830 and 18 days), the ideal would be to achieve € 3,700 more and reach the threshold of € 11,200, to be able to address post-production and sound mixing of the film.

The documentary, which is set to begin after the summer, is written and directed by Aitor López de Aberásturi and produced by Ainhoa Urgoitia from Luces del Ayer Producciones – Iraganeko Argiak Produkzioak. In addition to talking about Bingen Mendizabal himself, the documentary will explore the influence that many musicians and filmmakers have had in the composer’s career, including interviews with names such as Juanma Bajo Ulloa, Enrique Urbizu, Montxo Armendariz, Karra Elejalde, Juanjo Mena, Kirmen Uribe or Mikel Urdangarin, who will make us participate in this special way.
