Apulia Soundtrack Awards – 2nd edition
Today starts the 2nd edition of the Apulia Soundtrack Awards, an International Soundtrack Festival that takes place on July 6-8, 2023 in Carovigno-Puglia (BR), Italy.
The festival will have a 3-day program with masterclasses, concerts, and awards ceremony, presenting the Apulia Soundtrack Award to a career to Sally Stevens & Howard Shore.
Among the guests, we can find the following names: Simon Franglen, Cyril Morin, Myriam Cutler, Marco Guazzone, Laurent Levesque, Gabriel Marini / David Imbault, Roberto Fia, Denis Furne, George Christopoulos, Ray Costa.
This year the Apulia Soundtrack Award for the Emerging Composer, has 16 nominees: Ruiqi Zhao / John Skoog / Ross Gilman / Ruslan Perezhilo / Odysseas Papathanasiou Terzis / Alexei Aigui / Jui-Fan Lin / Jack Bochow / Alessandro Speciale / Daniel Gare / Neville Z. Barusha / Antonio Medellin Fajardo / Crystal D’Esprit / Daan Hofman / Lorenzo Barcella / Stefano Rean.

We have to highlight that Oticons Faculty will celebrate this year its 10th anniversary at the Apulia Soundtrack Awards, co-founded by one of the Oticons Faculty jury member – Cyril Morin. It is essentially a Film Music Competition for emerging film & media composers, that culminates into a festival, with roundtables, lectures, and an Awards Ceremony, taking place in the Castle of Carovigno at the beautiful town of Carovigno in south Italy.
