Krakow Film Music Festival is working on its 2021 edition

Good news for film music fans! After last year’s online edition of the Krakow Film Music Festival, and the date set for the next edition on 25-30 May 2021 (read more), we’ve been eagerly waiting for new developments.

Finally, yesterday, the festival team announced that they’re working on the 2021 edition, hoping that the conditions are met to finally celebrate a physical edition in Krakow.

Official announcement:

Dear FMF fans!

We’re delighted that you haven’t forgotten your favourite festival, and we promise that we haven’t stopped thinking about it, either! We can’t reveal any details of this year’s events yet, since there are still plenty of questions to be answered. Will we be able to meet at concerts and discussion panels with composers in person? Will all invited artists be able to come to Kraków? Or will we be meeting virtually after all?

One thing’s for certain – regardless of the situation, we have been working hard to pick the finest suites, talk with our guests and book their time. And the good news for today is that we’ll see you in the last week of May!

We’ve all been fighting a hard battle to contain the COVID-19 pandemic in Poland and the world over. We are keeping a close eye on the latest information and monitoring the latest developments. We are really looking forward to May when we’ll be able to make some decisions!

At the same time, we’re delighted that the Film Music Festival in Kraków has attracted such a loyal following over the years. We know how important the FMF is to you, and we promise we’re doing everything in our power to make sure that this year’s festival is an unforgettable experience for everyone.
