The recording of the documentary about Bingen Mendizabal ‘Bidean Jarraituz’ begins

This Wednesday, December 27th, 2017, the filming of the biographical documentary “Bidean Jarraituz” (Still in the way) began, based on the life of Basque film music composer Bingen Mendizabal. Directed by Aitor López de Aberásturi and produced by Luces del Ayer Producciones – Iraganeko Argiak Produkzioak in charge of Ainhoa Urgoitia, the documentary started its first interviews with the actor Karra Elejalde and the musician and composer Alex Ferreira Sebastian.

 

The documentary, which launched a Crowdfunding campaign a few months ago that was successful and managed to raise enough funds to carry out the project, has already started and begins its journey.

 

In addition to talking about Bingen Mendizabal himself, the documentary will explore the influence that many musicians and filmmakers have had in the composer’s career, including interviews with names such as Juanma Bajo Ulloa, Enrique Urbizu, Montxo Armendariz, Juanjo Mena, Kirmen Uribe or Mikel Urdangarin, who will make us participate in this special way.
