SoundTrackFest celebrates its 10th anniversary today!! (1/9/2016 – 1/9/2026)

🎂🍾🥂 SoundTrackFest is proud to celebrate its 10th anniversary today!! Little did we imagine, when we set off on this fabulous adventure in September 2016, on a trip to Los Angeles to see John Williams in concert with a group of good friends, that 10 years later we would find ourselves putting 10 candles on the cake.

SoundTrackFest celebrates its 10th anniversary today!! (1/9/2016 – 1/9/2026)

💫 The road that has brought us here has been fascinating. It was full of unforgettable moments, concerts for the history books, festivals to remember, wonderful collaborations, and above all, GREAT FRIENDSHIPS. But let’s not kid ourselves, it hasn’t been an easy road; there have been many hours of hard work, countless exhausting trips, encounters with toxic people and outsized egos, and many difficult situations to deal with, among other challenges.

✨But it HAS ALL BEEN WORTH IT. Today, 10 years later, and looking back, all we can say is that we are PROUD and DELIGHTED to have embarked on this adventure that is SoundTrackFest.

💖On this tenth anniversary we would like to thank, first of all, everyone who follows SoundTrackFest, whether on the website or on social media through Facebook and Instagram, and who do so both in Spanish and in English, the two languages in which we publish all our content. Over the years we have received many expressions of affection, gratitude and support, which have helped us keep going. You are the fuel that keeps SoundTrackFest running. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

🎶Secondly, we would like to thank all the professionals, organisations and festivals from the world of audiovisual music who have helped and supported us throughout these years, and with whom we have collaborated and built links and partnerships that have helped us create moments to remember.  The list is a long one… Krakow FMF, Fimucité, Sonafilm, Roma Film Music Festival, ISFMF, Musimagem Brasil, Apulia Soundtrack Awards, CSF, Film Music Prague… and more… THANK YOU SO MUCH! Together we go further. Without you, this would not have been possible.

⚙️👫And thirdly and lastly, we must thank the people on the “backstage”, the team who regularly or occasionally take part in the project, essential to keep everything running, and who have for years been part of the ‘SoundTrackFest Family’: Gori Martínez, Rafa Melgar, Felipe Múgica, Asier G Senarriaga, Reme Díaz, Frederic Torres, Coque Cano, Benoit Dal Din, Jose Carlos Fdez Moscoso, Karol Taubinger, Juan Sierra, Sergio Hardasmal, Carmen Ruíz, Curro Martín, Josep Ferré, and more… with a special mention for the designs by Diego Ruiz Expósito, and all of them under the watchful eye of Gorka Oteiza. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

SoundTrackFest is currently a modest, honest and interesting “mini-Wikipedia” of live film/TV/video game music, with:

✅ Over 2361 detailed articles and news items.

✅ Over 3515 micro-news items or short news pieces.

✅ A total of 302 in-depth special feature articles covering festivals, concerts, events, and recording sessions.

✅ A total of 75 interviews with composers, conductors, and many other professionals in the world of soundtracks.

📓And what’s more, all of the content has always been published “two times”, that is, in two languages: Spanish and English!!

🎂🍾🥂 So, on this 10th anniversary, we invite you to rediscover SoundTrackFest, and to browse and dive into its pages. We’re sure you’ll find content about your favourite artists… that will surprise you!

🎁And to close this long, wide-ranging message, a HEADS UP… in the coming days we will announce GIVEAWAYS/SURPRISES that we think you’ll love. 😎

✨🎶🙏 From the bottom of our hearts, to everyone, MANY MANY THANKS FOR BEING THERE THESE 10 YEARS! 🙏🎶✨
