3rd edition of the ‘Spanish Audiovisual Music Awards’ by Musimagen & Fimucité
Musimagen (Asociación de Compositores de Música para Audiovisual – Association of Music Composers for the Audiovisual) in collaboration with the Tenerife International Film Music Festival (FIMUCITÉ), have organized the 3rd edition of the Spanish Audiovisual Music Awards, in order to recognize the work of Spanish creators.
As a novelty to the two previous editions, this year the participation is open to all audiovisual music composers, not needing to be a member of Musimagen to participate.
Additionally, a new category has been added, making a total of 4:
- Best orchestral score.
- Best electroacoustic score.
- Best original score for a series.
- Best original score for advertising. (NEW)
All Audiovisual Works must be delivered by a link to a multimedia platform to the e-mail premios@musimagen.com with the deadline set on July 5, 2020, at 18:00h.
The official awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 26, at the gala of the 14th edition of Fimucité, which will be held in the Adán Martín Auditorium in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Due to the capacity limitations that must be respected in the auditorium as a preventive measure of Covid19, it will not be possible for all the nominees to attend the Gala, as it has been done so far, so the winners of the awards will be announced on August 3rd.
The winners will get a ticket to the Fimucité concert after the awards ceremony, and they will attend the after party organized by Fimucité with well-known professionals from the sector. In addition, if the winners are members of Musimagen, the association will cover the cost of flights and accommodation.
