As announced yesterday officially, the Movie Score Malága festival, better known as MOSMA, already has dates for its second edition in 2017 in Malaga city; specifically Wednesday 5 to Sunday 9 July.
Thus MOSMA, will again be meeting point internationally for already established composers and young talents, with music fans audiovisual in its broadest content, since the film soundtracks add the TV or video game.
Taking again as main venues of the festival concerts at Teatro Cervantes and Teatro Echegaray, activities formative be added with the aim of fostering inter-relationships between the sectors of film and music, offering the opportunity to investigate the relationship and strategies of the creative process of a soundtrack, and the ensemble formed by the film director and composer.
Also, in terms of awards, it will be held again delivering the MOSMA Awards in different categories and delivery of the Jerry Goldsmith Awards for the best new composers awarded by the BSOSpirit Association.
Regarding the contents of this second edition of MOSMA, although there is still no confirmed composers and the organization hopes to bring forward names soon, so it has been confirmed is that there will be a great concert entitled “Music of the blockbusters Hollywood ‘, will transport viewers on a journey through history, which already legendary soundtrack master John Williams will be included, until today.
Remember that in the first edition of MOSMA featured guests like Craig Armstrong, Jan A.P. Kaczmarek, Roque Baños, Sean Callery, Kenji Kawai, Pino Donaggio, Daniel Pemberton and Federico Jusid among others, and is expected 2017 to be same or better.
