Game Music Fest 2023 in Katowice – Silesian Philharmonic
On February 17 & 18 (Friday & Saturday), GAME MUSIC FEST 2023, will take place in Katowice, Poland, presenting an interdisciplinary festival, organized by the Silesian Philharmonic, which will focus on video game music. The festival will have the participation of composers Adam Skorupa, Bartosz Chajdecki, and Peter McConnell (online).

“Hundreds of people working on developing new titles give gamers access to real masterpieces. They build worlds just by mouse click, pushing the button, or steering a gamepad. True immersion is influenced not only by pictures but also by sounds. And that is the reason why music in video games is so crucial.
Music is an art. Creating games is an art. And every kind of art is connected with an artist. That’s why GAME MUSIC FEST will be an exquisite meeting of music and the newest technology, including holograms and VR. But – first of all – it will be a meeting and a fusion of artists who perform and artists who create.”
